Forging
Our forgings meet highest quality expectations for a variety of applications from forging raw part to a fully machined part – ready for assembly.From our wide range of forging capability we choose for your product the most competitive and efficient production method.

We have the know-how and the capabilities for closed die and hot extrusion parts. The variety of capabilities allows us to forge nearly every forgeable customer requests. We have the necessary capacities for high volume but we canalso provide you with our expertise and technical equipment for the developmentof prototypes or realization of smaller lots.

Heat Treatment
With a heat treatment assigned to your materials the forgings will get the required mechanical properties. All forgings materials can be treated with classical heat treatments methods. On different furnaces small parts as well as big parts in low volumes and high volumes can be treated individual in different quench medium.

For the inspection of the mechanical properties our internal lab as well as external certified suppliers nearby are available. Short-term results and fast communication is possible. Traceability is one of our highest priorities.

Final Inspection
The forgings are shot blasted to remove the scale and tinder and to achieve a metallic surface. In addition methods for generating residual pressure in the surface are possible. Visual inspection and dimensional checks as well as contactless measurements are performed.

Machining
Schöneweiss offers always the perfect technology for every specialized application in many areas of technique and industry. In CNC-machining centers, we process your products from the pre-machining to the final machining in tightest tolerance ranges. For the inspection innovative 3D-CMM and Scanners are utilized. Try our variety of processes incl. sub-assembly or module-assembly as well as deliveries in JIT mode. That does not only reduce your cost of warehousing but also increases the flexibility and saves invest on in-house equipment.

Robots Welding
For welding components made of forgings, stampings and tubes we utilize MIG/MAG Welding Cells for round and individual welding seems. For inspection innovative scanning methods are implemented in the process.

Our products and processes and their risks are continuously monitored and documented. The production processes is monitored by innovative and State of the Art inspections and methods. Systematically defined and frozen procedures in the laboratory, receiving, production and final inspection guarantee maximized safety and highest quality.
