Forming technology
Forming technology
From simple forged blanks to mechanically machined, ready-to-install components, our forgings meet the highest quality standards for a wide range of applications. We select the most economical and efficient manufacturing process for your product from our wide range of forming techniques.
We have the know-how and machinery for drop forging and hot extrusion. The wide range of processes enables us to fulfill almost all customer requirements that can be implemented using forging technology. We have the necessary capacity to produce large series, but are also happy to assist you with the development of prototypes or the realization of small quantities with our complete expertise and technical equipment.
Heat treatment
Heat treatment processes adapted to the materials are used to give the forgings their desired mechanical properties. All materials used for forgings can be treated using conventional heat treatment processes. Both small and large parts, in small and large quantities, can be individually treated in different quenching media on a wide variety of systems.
We are supported by external, accredited service providers in the immediate vicinity to check the mechanical properties produced by our internal laboratory. This enables short analysis periods and rapid communication of results. Traceability is our top priority.

Finishing
The components are then blasted with steel balls in our finishing department to remove the oxidation from the previous production steps and create a metallically pure surface. Processes are also used here that generate a strength-increasing residual compressive stress to further improve the component properties.
Visual findings and dimensional measurements, including non-contact measuring methods, are carried out during the process.
Machining process
Schoeneweiss & Co. GmbH always offers the perfect technology for every highly specialized application in many areas of technology and industry. We machine your products in CNC machining centers from pre-machining to finishing within the narrowest tolerance range.
State-of-the-art 3D measuring machines and scanners are available for checking the parts. Take advantage of our wide range of processes and production options, including partial assembly or ready-to-install assembly of entire components as well as just-in-time deliveries. This not only reduces your storage costs, but also increases your flexibility and saves you having to invest in your own production facilities.
